Privacy policy

This policy covers this website — the inquiry form on it and the chat widget in the corner. It does not cover data you send to the model through the API — that is governed by your contract and the data processing agreement.

In short

Four things this policy says, before the detail. The detail below is what actually applies.

What we collect

What you type into the inquiry form or the chat widget, plus ordinary web server logs. The form does not ask for payment details, and there is no checkout on this site.

  • Section 3
  • Form and chat

Why we collect it

To answer your inquiry, work out whether we can serve you, prepare a quote, and run the screening the law requires. Nothing else — no newsletter, no resale.

  • Section 4
  • No marketing

How long we keep it

As long as it takes to deal with your inquiry, and afterward only for legitimate business or legal record-keeping. Ask us to delete it and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

  • Section 7
  • On request

Your rights

Depending on where you live you can ask for a copy, a correction, or deletion, and you can object to certain processing. Use the contact form and say what you want.

  • Section 8
  • Contact form

This summary is a reading aid, not a substitute. It does not change the meaning of the numbered sections below — where the two differ, the numbered sections govern.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Byoobai Information Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"), which provides the service described on it under the name Workhorse — enterprise access to the DeepSeek V4.1 Flash model, and the commercial relationship around it. We are an independent provider and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of DeepSeek.

Our registered address is available on request — ask through the contact form and we will provide it. That form is also the fastest way to reach us about anything in this policy.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers personal data we collect through this website — in practice, the inquiry form and the chat widget. It does not cover:

  • Data you send through the API. That is governed by your contract and, where applicable, the data processing agreement.
  • The chat widget. The widget in the corner is ours — we run it, and it is served from a separate host we operate, so your browser talks to that host directly. What it collects is described in section 3. It is not an outside vendor's product and we do not use it for advertising.
  • Analytics and advertising. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising tools on this site. The statistics we keep are first-party and are described in section 10. If we ever add a third-party tool, this section will name it and this policy will be updated before it goes live.

3. What we collect

When you submit the inquiry form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your company name
  • Your work email address
  • Your country
  • Your phone number, if you choose to give it
  • Your approximate monthly token volume
  • Which provider you currently use
  • Anything you write in the free-text field describing your workload

The form does not ask for payment details, and we do not collect them through this website. There is no checkout here.

Our web server may also record standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type in its logs, as most web servers do. We use this to keep the site working and to detect abuse.

The chat widget in the corner is part of this site and is loaded on every page. If you open it and write to it, we collect what you write; if you fill in the contact form inside the widget, we also collect your name, work email address and company name. The widget is served from a host we operate, so simply loading a page means your browser contacts that host, and it sees your IP address and browser type whether or not you open the chat. It sets no cookies.

4. Why we collect it

To respond to your inquiry, to work out whether we can serve you, to prepare a quote, and to run the compliance screening we describe in section 5. We do not use it for anything else.

We do not sell your data. We do not add you to a newsletter, and submitting the form does not sign you up to anything.

5. Compliance screening

Before onboarding a customer we screen the company and its end users against applicable export controls and sanctions. This is a legal requirement, and it means we may check the company name and country you give us against published lists. If a check cannot be completed satisfactorily, we may be unable to proceed.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the business — for example hosting and email providers — and only to the extent they need it. Where we rely on such a provider, we require it to protect the data to at least the standard described here.

We may disclose data where we are legally required to, for example in response to a valid legal request.

7. How long we keep it

Inquiry data is kept for as long as needed to deal with your inquiry, and afterward for as long as we need it for legitimate business or legal record-keeping purposes. If you ask us to delete it, we will, unless we are required to keep it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. You may also object to certain processing. To make a request, use the contact form on this site and say what you want.

We will respond within the period required by the law that applies to you. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that a breach will never happen — but we will tell affected people and the relevant authorities if one does, as required by law.

10. Cookies and site analytics

This website does not set advertising cookies. For its own traffic statistics it uses a randomly generated visitor ID kept in your browser's local storage — not a cookie — together with the page you are on, the site you arrived from, any campaign tags in the link, how long you stayed and how far you scrolled. This tells us which pages are useful and nothing more.

On your first visit, a bar at the top of the page asks whether you allow this. If you choose Decline, the statistics script is never loaded and no visitor ID is created or stored. If you choose Allow, the visitor ID described above is used. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, so the bar does not ask again.

The chat widget sets no cookies either. It keeps the identifier for your chat session in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. It is separate from the visitor ID above and is not used for statistics.

Clearing your browser's site data removes both the visitor ID and your choice — the bar will ask again on your next visit. If we ever add advertising or third-party tracking, this section will be updated and any consent required by law will be collected before those are set.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date below. Material changes affecting how we use data we already hold will be communicated to affected people directly where we can.

12. Contact

Use the contact form on this site. Please do not send sensitive personal data through the form — it is designed for business inquiries, not for confidential material.
